Breaking open of the lock using key code read-out The gap between the code groove of pit key and the stem support is equal to 1.2 mm
Step of secret milling is equal to 1 mm (difference between the neighboring secrets) Totally 6 milling steps in height from the key shank axis: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 mm
The milled secrets on the key groove are made using the diagonal symmetry method.
Since the gap (between the code groove of pit key and the stem support (1.2 mm) is more than the height of the secret milling step (1mm), the lock may be opened by 64 different keys made according to the below secrets table. Demonstration: Key No. 1 - original Yale ML 14 lock key Conclusions: Taking the above analysis into account, any criminal can make a key from a similar table and open your lock. With a gap equal to 0.58mm as in KERBEROS brand lock, only 1 original key No. 1 would match to the lock having a code:
The milling height from the key stem axis 10 7 11 8 11 8 8 11 8 11 7 10 and the total number of secret combinations would be increased by 64 times and would amount to 46 656 which corresponds to 2nd class lock. For the 3rd class lock, 50 000 combinations are necessary, while for the 4th class - 100 000 combinations (GOST 5089-2003).
